Smile Power
"Encourage one another daily..." Hebrews 3:13"The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up." Mark Twain
It's a little thing--a smile. No matter how dark the day however, a smile breaks through the darkness and lights a little corner. A smile given is almost always a smile returned. Start with smiling at the person you greet in your bathroom mirror every morning. I guarantee that if you smile at that person, your smile will be returned.
Smiles come in all sizes. Some are large grins. Some are little curls at the corners of the mouth. All of them speak of encouragement. A smile is probably the single most non-verbal way to express to another that you care about them.
So, if you're feeling a little down, try smiling at someone else. It's good exercise for the spirit. The world will look a little brighter and the smiles will start coming your way as well.
